[ all ] i'm with scottrade. >>> britain's royal family is expanding. prince william and katherine, the duchess of cambridge, big baby announcement coming today as we learn she's in the hospital. >>> in crime and punishment, new questions tonight on the trayvon martin case. take a look at this photograph released today by george zimmerman's lawyers. it was taken they say by a police officer the night their client killed the unarmed teenager. you can see there is blood on zimmerman's face and his nose looks swollen. it's the clearest image that surfaced of those injuries described in a police report from that night. zimmerman says he killed martin in self-defense after the teen attacked him, slamming his head against the ground and breaking his nose. zimmerman's lawyers want to know why prosecutors waited until now, until october, to give them the photograph. earlier, the state had turned over a much grainier black and white version of that image. take a look at them side by side. you can see how much clearer the digital version is, but will it help zimmerman's defense

with the deputy secretary of state william burns ahead of tomorrow's historic u.n. general assembly vote on palestinian statehood. the resolution, though, would upgrade the palestinian authority's u.n. status from observer to a nonmember observer state. it is expected to be approved. israel strongly opposes the bid. the person representing the u.s. will be ambassador susan rice who currently is facing a lot of heat over the statements she made about the benghazi attack. will the fire she's facing in washington impact her role in this delicate diplomatic dance at the u.n.? >> i don't think so. these are two different issues. she reps the united states at the u.n., i don't think anybody questions the fact she reps the united states when she's up there. she serves as the president's envoy up there. her standing there is not affected by what's going on here at all. i think what is -- what you see is questions that still exist about benghazi and libya, and i think those will be sorted out. i mean, the end of the day, you know, the fact is what's going on in libya is something that we all have

william. he's back at a london hospital this morning with his wife catherine. they are expecting their first child, and catherine is being treated for symptoms of very severe morning sickness. britain all abuzz with news of the pregnancy. richard quest is live in london this morning. hey, richard. >> good morning to you. indeed, the prince is now back at the hospital. the duchess is being treated for this very severe form of morning sickness. depending on the number, this affects 1 in 50 or 2 in 50 women. but when it does hit apparently it's very bad. although it doesn't necessarily pose a threat to the life of the mother or baby, it is considered to be so debilitating that you do go into hospital for this infusion of fluids. which i'm told by experts make things a great deal better. this is the way the morning papers in the uk are reporting the story. just simply a wealth of puns, jokes, and the like. kate expectations, says "the daily sun."
